Justice Served, a not-for-profit organization, was established in 2005 with two primary goals. The first goal was to help the Georgia Court of Appeals celebrate its centennial. That goal will be completed when the Court’s history book is completed and distributed in October of 2008. The second and continuing goal is to help Georgians better understand and appreciate the judicial branch of government. The three initiatives which are currently on going are:

1.  An Oratorical Contest in the fall with scholarships given to the winners.

2.  Speakers Bureau with prepared speeches for schools, civic clubs and other forums.

3.  Developing programs to enable youth groups to better appreciate and understand the three branches of government and the importance of the courts and the judges who serve on them.
